Came here two weeks ago to get dinner with some friends. One of the best Szechuan places in the area. Food: I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and triple pepper chicken. They were the perfect blend of spicy and flavorful. I like how even though the dishes are cooked in chili oil, they seem "leaner" with the oil compared to other places. Aesthetic: huge Chinese restaurant with standard Chinese design. Place was busy! Service: our service was very good, staying on top of everything and always asking if we needed anything.

We have been told by a few people to come here many times. We finally did and are so glad we did. This spot had the most flavorful food I've had in a long time. Everything was great. Most Sichuan Chinese in the area has little to no spice or flavor. Here the spice was plentiful. They even have option to did more spice and most places it does nothing, however here definitely spicy. This will be our go to place for Sichuan in the area. Portions were a little small but the flavors made up for that

We picked this for lunch as part of our Willowbrook mall day trip. It's only couple minutes from the mall, can even walk, about 10 minutes on foot. The restaurant looks very nice with a huge fish tank right at the entrance, and a well decorated ceiling. They have a large menu with all sorts of Szechuan dishes. We got the ox tripe and tongue, nicely made cold appetizer. Shrimp dumplings were average, didn't seem like it was freshly made. But pecking duck was such a good dish. Really tender duck with crispy skin outside. Came with some baos, and delicious pecking sauce. We consumed the whole duck just making our own baos. The beef noodles dish was also excellent, with tender beef and good noodles. The service was top notch. Food came put real fast, didn't have to wait too long. Better to pay via cash cause credit cards have a 3% processing fee. Overall it's a really good Szechuan style Asian restaurant.

Came for a quick lunch and was surprised at how affordable and delicious the lunch special was - $12 with your choice in meal (rice, noodles, protein and vegetable) and soup (egg drop, wonton, hot and sour). An unexpected treat was a chocolate fortune cookie!

Consistently solid Chinese food. Our favorite dish is the beef with scallions. It is sweet and delicious! Their soup dumplings aren't very soupy and don't seem handmade anymore. I think they were better a few years ago. They're just okay. Great service and huge shared parking lot!

On Christmas Day, my husband and I went to Cheng Du 23 after going to the movies (Godzilla Minus One - GO WATCH IT!). It was our first time here and it will not be our last - a great experience! Food was great and staff were very friendly. It was easy for me to talk with our waiter and confirm what's really veggie-friendly and what's not, which allows me to relax so I can enjoy my sit-down meal without worrying. Below is what we ordered. We definitely ordered with our eyes from the menu and took home leftovers for the next day. -- scallion pancake (hot app) -- enoki mushrooms in chili sauce (cold spicy app) -- eggplant in garlic sauce - no pork -- fried tofu and black mushrooms with baby bok choy -- vegetable fried rice with egg -- crispy pan-friend noodles with vegetables Lastly, my husband got a kick out of Cheng Du giving out chocolate fortune cookies - a mind blown emoji moment for him lol. Two thumbs up for Cheng Du 23 :)
